The owners of Jasmine Cottage appointed Cotswold Architects to design a house extension. They wanted a bright room overlooking their garden and an internal connection to an existing outbuilding.

Our design introduced a contemporary garden room at Jasmine Cottage, with full-height glazing on two sides and a slender external metal corner post. Positioned between the existing buildings, it creates a light-filled space with a close connection to the garden.
A more practical layout
The extension also provides internal access to the outbuilding, allowing it to become a utility room. This improves the practical layout of the home.
