Working with the developer from the start
Cotswold Architects began working with the developer before the purchase of the original property was complete, exploring how the site could best fulfil its potential.
Two homes inspired by Cheltenham’s heritage
Our proposal replaced the existing house with two three-storey homes inspired by Cheltenham’s Georgian and Regency architecture. The street elevations of 237 and 239 Prestbury Road respond to the town’s architectural heritage, while the rear of each property takes a contemporary approach.
Bright living spaces opening onto the gardens
Generous flat-roofed extensions, roof lanterns and steel-look glazed doors create bright living spaces opening onto the gardens.
3D visualisations for planning and marketing
Cotswold Architects produced architectural 3D visualisations to communicate the scheme to Cheltenham Borough Council and support the planning application. These images were then used on site hoardings to market the properties, helping both homes sell before construction was complete.
